Furniture pieces are safely wrapped and packed at your home, using the safest industry-standard packing materials to ensure they are protected in transit. Following this, our movers take your furniture to one of our locations for loading onto a shipping container, then secure items alongside the loads of other compatible customers.
LCL helps to keep shipping furniture costs low as the cost is split between yourself and other customers also using the shipping container.
If you are sending full furniture removals, i.e. a full family home or an office of furniture, full container load (FCL) might be the most fruitful method of furniture shipping, as FCL means you will receive a dedicated shipping container for your exclusivity.

Firstly, the distance of your end location is factored into your quote. European furniture shipping to countries such as Malta, Spain or Cyprus will return a cheaper quote than shipping furniture internationally to India, Thailand or Australia, for example.
The method in which we deliver your furniture items overseas is another significant factor in the overall cost of sending furniture abroad. Our available transit methods are air freight, sea freight and road freight (road freight only for EU deliveries), and a combination of these can be used when needed.
Air freight is the most expensive of the transport methods, but it is the best option if you need to receive your pieces in a hurry, as air freight with have your furniture to your within a matter of days. However, the speedy service has a high price point as the cost is calculated on the weight of your consignment. This is only really recommended for a limited number of smaller furniture pieces.
The most common (and cheapest) method of sending furniture overseas is via sea freight. Although the process will take some weeks, especially to further destinations, you will save considerable amounts of money than sending items via air.

If you select our LCL option, your goods are loaded into a shared shipping container and you will only be charged based on the cubic volume of your furniture items and the space they consume within the shared container. The container costs are split amongst the accompanying loads and therefore keeping your costs low.
If you ship furniture abroad using FCL, your costs are calculated on the size shipping container you require. You can opt for 20ft or 40ft shipping container to be loaded at your home and you will be charged a set fee to fill this how you wish. Although this is the most expensive of the two sea freight methods, it is perfect for whole home or large office removals… it’s even a money saver if you want to ship a vehicle alongside your furniture.
